We are in the Rio Grande valley with huge Cottonwood trees and Chinese Elms and at this season there are many elm beetles. old, were out briefly but it was obvious the guests were not pet friendly so the dogs were contained. We are a pet-friendly B & B and the 2 Standard Poodles, a 12 yr old and a 15 mo. for $15) that they requested when making their reservation online. As is our normal practice, we upgraded them to an available larger room and set up the 'added on grill package' (charcoal grill stocked w/charcoal, lighter fluid, grill tools, place settings, napkins, etc. This was an unfortunate situation that deteriorated and we offer our sincere apologies to these guests for their unhappy experience.
